03/31 Day 1: Marrakech to Ouarzazate

In the morning, you leave Marrakech for an enchanting journey towards Ouarzazate, a city steeped in history and cinematic allure. As you venture out, the road begins to wind its way through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, with the Tizi N’Tichka Pass offering panoramic views of jagged peaks and deep valleys. The journey itself becomes an adventure as you navigate the switchbacks, each turn revealing a new vista of rugged beauty.

One of the highlights along the route is the ancient fortified village of Ksar Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nestled amidst the desert landscape, this clay-brick marvel transports you back in time with its labyrinthine alleys and well-preserved kasbahs. 04/01 Day 2: Ouarzazate to Imlil via Ourika

On this day of your journey, you depart from Ouarzazate, bidding farewell to its cinematic charm and embarking on a new adventure towards Imlil, nestled in the majestic High Atlas Mountains. As you traverse the winding roads, you’re greeted by the awe-inspiring landscapes of barren valleys and rugged peaks, each turn offering a glimpse into the untamed beauty of Morocco’s mountainous terrain.

Your route takes you through picturesque Berber villages, where mud-brick homes cling to the mountainsides, seemingly defying gravity. 04/02 Day 3: Imlil to Essaouira

Leaving the rugged terrain of the High Atlas Mountains behind, you descend towards the Atlantic coast, the landscape gradually transforming from rocky slopes to sandy shores. Along the way, you pass through fertile valleys and olive groves, where the air is perfumed with the scent of blossoming citrus trees, a refreshing contrast to the arid desert landscapes you’ve traversed thus far.

04/03 Day 4: Free day in Essaouira

you wake up in Essaouira, greeted by the gentle sea breeze and the promise of a day filled with exploration and relaxation. With no fixed itinerary, you have the freedom to wander at your own pace and immerse yourself in the laid-back atmosphere of this coastal haven.

As you step out into the bustling streets of the medina, you’re greeted by the vibrant sights and sounds that define Essaouira’s unique charm. Spend the morning meandering through the maze-like alleyways, where artisans ply their trade and colorful storefronts beckon with an array of locally-made crafts and souvenirs.

For a taste of Essaouira’s rich maritime heritage, head to the bustling fish market, where fishermen haul in their daily catch and vendors sell an assortment of freshly-caught seafood. Watch as the hustle and bustle unfolds before your eyes, soaking in the sights and sounds of this lively cultural hub.

As the day progresses, make your way to the picturesque Essaouira Beach, where golden sands stretch as far as the eye can see and the crashing waves provide the perfect backdrop for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing sunbathing session. 04/05 Day 6: Home sweet home

Our 6-day tour from Marrakech has come to a close here. Even while it makes us happy when a tour goes as planned, this is one of the aspects of our profession that we dislike the most. After traveling together for 6 days, we develop relationships, share our experiences, and open up about ourselves. True, saying bye has never been an easy task.

Today, the driver will transfer you to the airport and you leave Morocco with a lot of memories and stories to tell.
