Marrakech comes at the peak of places to see within this itinerary; nonetheless, the journey is rich with discoveries and attractions. Here we are presenting some of the best attractions, just be ready and bring a good camera

It is true that this first essential site is not a secret, but it continues to delight visitors again and again. The Pearl of the South, as we call it here, has certainly changed a lot in recent years, but it still represents a stopover full of charm and surprise.

This is where most travelers land, and you might as well say that the scenery is immediately there! The vast Jemaa-el-Fna square and its constant agitation, the smells, the colors and the noise of the souks, the sumptuous palaces and mosques … Impossible to remain indifferent!

Despite its frequentation, there are a lot of things that you don’t know about Marrakech. And it is on these things that we focus when our travelers visit Marrakech.

For example, we will take you to visit the secret Jardins, explore the tanning district where you can learn more about the secrets and techniques of working leather, and many other surprises that allow you to discover Marrakech differently.

It would be impossible to talk about the essentials of Morocco without mentioning the Sahara Desert. In Morocco, it’s divided into two very distinct zones: Zagora, the driest desert, and Merzouga, known for its impressive dunes, (some can reach 150 meters in height!), the one included in Morocco itinerary one week tour

Contrary to what you might think, there is actually a lot to see and do in the Moroccan desert. For example, the Drâa valley where you will see Berbers in the kasbahs and small isolated villages.

Also, you will visit Dades valley, known for its absolutely splendid gorges and its dwellings which merge with the rock.

Last not least, you ride camels and you camp in the desert. You spend a night in Berber tents eating traditional food around the fire! it’s romantic! isn’t it?

It’s Fez, the city that we always invite all travelers to focus on. The oldest part of the city, listed by UNESCO, was erected at the end of the 8th century. So much to tell you that it is home to a number of historical and architectural treasures!

The medina of Fez is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and authentic cities in Morocco since it has remained almost intact since its creation. There are also old hammams, bread ovens, several mosques, mausoleums, and caravanserais, all hidden in a maze of alleys entirely pedestrian.

Fez is one of our favorite places in Morocco and we could easily talk about it for hours. Every day, more than 50,000 artisans come to work here in sectors as different as wood, pottery, food, or leather. This is also the reason why we think, Fez is the best place in Morocco to shop and bring back authentic memories of your trip!

On the road of a thousand kasbahs which run along the 170 km of the Dades valley between the cities of Ouarzazate and Boulmane Dadès. The very green oases in the lower valleys give way, in the upper valley, to gorges with limestone walls which are almost 300 meters high.

These gorges form 4 series which follow one another as far as Boulmane de Dadès

Ouarzazate is, since the 1960s and the filming of Lawrence of Arabia, a place privileged by the directors of the cinematographic industry. The cinema has since had a considerable influence on the economy of the region.

Nearly 100,000 people in the region live directly or indirectly from the cinema, between extras, technicians, hoteliers and craftsmen. With its desert and lunar landscapes and its level of sunshine all year round, the region offers essential assets to this activity.

Located 3 km west of Ouarzazate, you will recognize the studios by the huge pharaohs posted in front of the entrance. Created in 1983 in the middle of the desert, Atlas Corporation Studios are the first cinema studios in Morocco and cover an area of 30 ha.

Many famous films have been filmed there, such as The Jewels of the Nile, Ali Baba and the 40 thieves….

Also, Gladiator, Mission Cleopatra, Babel…. The list of films shot here is endless.

Part of the shooting of Game of Thrones even took place here. The studios are open to the public and you can enter with a guide who will tell you the anecdotes of the filming.
